Working on library assignments tonight. This is my last week attend two summer classes. I have learned so much about databases and the information that is available and already organized and ready for us to match with the users. The class was all about Reference work and I am constantly excited and amazed that school library allows me to become a reference librarian, a technology specialist, a book reviewer and so much more. Its the best of all the worlds. I am so looking forward to being a school librarian!

I am enjoying playing with the layout on this site so much! It's a great way to procrastinate.
I chose the name for this Blog this way - My initials are MAK. My last name is King. I have always thought it cool that my name is M.A.King or making. And I'm in the process of making myself into a librarian, so it works. :)

New To Blogging

I am excited to post my first blog. I have been asked to create a blog for a course I am taking. I have avoided this in the past, thinking there weren't two people who would want to read my rambling. However, when I think of using a blog with my future students, to communicate about books we love and the latest technology, I can see where my blog would be useful! So, here is my first post. Maybe library lovers out there will find me and thrill to read my every word. ;)
